A few quick steps to secure access and connect your charger. You can fine-tune everything else from the main dashboard once setup is done.

Secure access to Phaeton with a unique password.
Select your charger, or choose the dummy adapter to try Phaeton for free.
The dummy adapter needs no license and no physical charger. Controls are simulated and draw no power. You can select a physical charger later; a physical charger needs a license.
Requires internet, an API service account and owner/service access to this charger. Readings refresh every 30 seconds. Cloud outages can prevent stopping. Lifetime energy and phase switching are unavailable.
Select the exact model. Use an account approved for this installation; commercial access has separate vendor requirements. Authorization is optional and conflicts with RFID vehicle identification. Resume can wait for enough current budget. Internet is required; outages can prevent stopping. Phase switching and positive GX MQTT controls are unavailable.
Leave both blank if charger authentication is disabled.
Meter-equipped Bender CC612/CC613 with the modern Bender Modbus map. Enable Modbus TCP control. For dual connectors use port 502 or 503. Confirm charger-side fallback settings; phase switching is unavailable.
Meter-equipped KEBA P30 c/x-series or P40/P40 Pro. Enable Modbus, set EMS failsafe current to 0 A and timeout to 30β600 seconds. Phase switching is unavailable.
This choice applies in Auto mode and does not start charging. You can change it later in Settings under Charging managed by.
Connect to the MQTT service on your GX. Use 127.0.0.1 when Phaeton runs on that GX. Enable charging control on the GX to use Auto.
Read live solar, grid, and battery measurements for the dashboard and Phaeton-managed Auto. This data connection is optional when GX controls charging. On Venus OS it is pre-filled to 127.0.0.1.

Phaeton will save the configuration and ask you to sign in with the credentials you just chose.
Optional. Allow Phaeton to store and send small daily summaries of charger compatibility, reliability, performance, feature use, setup and update outcomes. No device identifiers, raw logs, charging schedules or energy readings. Leave unchecked to keep sharing off. You can withdraw your choice and preview reports in Settings β System.
